A boxer from Newcastle called seaman Watson, who had just beaten Nel Charlton for the british title, fought Kid Chocolate in america, in those days you had to knock the home town fighter out to get a points decision, anyway he lost.
From then they used to say, up here, Seaman Watson couldnt lick chocolate

By the way enjoyed the artwork, are they from old "ring"or" boxing" magazines.
